Poor customer service
Poor customer service. They didn’t take a payment back in January but still sent the coffee, at that time we had a lot going on and didn’t notice nor would we check as the coffee was delivered.Now nearly 8 months later they are asking me for payment for which I have no problem paying but have asked they split the payment over 2 invoices but they are not willing to work with me on this!!

The coffee on subscription is ok but boring and the machine is unreliable. There are better subscriptions out there and with a lot more choice, don’t waste your money here.

Before you buy a desea
Sadly I can only give 2 stars for lavazza. Don’t get me wrong the coffee is and always will be my favourite, I’ve had 2 lavazza coffee machines now the second one being the desea. It seems that lavazza sell things but when it comes to replacements your out of luck. Unfortunately the desea uses its own special mug for when your making a drink with milk, I accidentally smashed mine and have now been waiting what seems like over 6 months for another to come into stock, I’ve contacted customer services who just tell me to keep an eye on the website but they never come in. Be warned if your buying a desea do not smash the glass!

Great coffee but awful subscription.
Great coffee but awful subscription.
They send an email to tell me they are processing the quarterly delivery but will not allow choice of delivery date.
Then the courier, yodel, delivers while we are out of the country.
They left the order on our doorstep.
Dreadful

Subscription fail
I wanted to buy a subscription for capsules and at the same time take advantage of the offer of a coffee machine for £1. When I tried to buy the offer, my payment did not go through. As I knew there was more than enough money on the card, I contacted Lavazza Customer Services. They said they were having problems with their new website and would forward my query to their IT Department. To cut a long story short, it is now more than a week and several phone calls later and no progress whatsoever has been made. The IT Department has not responded to Customer Services and no one has ever contacted me to give me an update. So, the offer may be great, but if you can't buy it, and nobody at Lavazza seems to care, it is not worth anything. I have given up and will go elsewhere.

Please BELIEVE every one star rating…
Please read AND BELIEVE every one star review. I have never had such a negative customer "service" experience. Ordering was easy. I have been waiting on one to seven day delivery for a month now. It is not trackable online even though the suite purports to offer that option. There is no call center. No one answers the phone or returns your messages and online customer inquiry portal submissions are not answered. I have no machine, no coffee, no refund, no response.

Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible! I received a large order of coffee pods that, although the coffee was ok, would not turn off. Hence, if you didn’t stand next to the machine it would just run until the tank was empty. Never had this problem with any other pods. First time I ordered direct from Lavazza and received eco pods and they were useless.
Contacted customer services who asked for a live video link watching the coffee being made. A bit bizarre but they, at least, got to see the “live” problem. I have now been in constant contact via E mail since the beginning of April with no success. Constantly asked for extra photos that I have sent 5 times but they claim to have not received them. I have spent so much valuable time on this without success that I have now given up and will be ordering elsewhere. Lavazza should be utterly ashamed of their customer service.

Unfortunately more of a con than anything else..
Honestly, the only reason I even did it was cause I got an email that said you could get a free basic machine with a £50 box of coffee pods.. Here I am 18 months later and STILL paying for it..
I honestly can't get out of this contract.. I've rang, I've cancelled the direct debit subscription, and they threatened to take 200 pound from me if I didn't resubscribe.. so I tried to return the machine; turns out THEY CHARGE YOU for you giving it back to them?

Moral of the story is this is a con and the fact that Lavazza have given up ownership of their own review page due to poor reviews is disgraceful.

Love the plan with coffee machine…
Love the plan with coffee machine included. In general coffee was cheaper than the grocery store but now slightly more expensive but more variety. I had an issue with my frother for my machine and they quickly sent out a new one. Great customer service

Design Flaw - Leaky Lavazza A Modo Mio Coffee Machine
I have had TWO of these coffee machines. Machine number one developed a leak after approx. 6 months. Purchased from Curry's, who had no interest in resolving the issue. Contacted Lavazza UK and after much messing about asking for photographs of the leak, finally sent me a replacement unit. However, the second unit also leaked after 6/7 months. Its now in the bin and I am currently trawling reviews before making another purchase. Incidentally, its not just water that comes out at leaky time, there is a smattering of what appears to be silicone mixed in. This ruins your dish cloth too. My hot tip, spend plenty of time researching long term issues with coffee machines before buying one.

I had a coffee machine for under 1 year and it broke making the coffees too hot and not frothing. They advised they are sending me a part out which will be with me in 5 days to then say its out of stock (after waiting months) I have chased this up on a number of occasions and they have been useless! They offered to send me a free mug which i don’t understand why as I cant even use the machine! and not heard anything after this to say when its back in stock of when they will be sending it out to me. do not buy any if there products!!

Good coffee, shame about the rest of the experience
Good coffee, shame about the bargain basement logistics & order fulfilment.

Its almost like they don't have a clue what they are doing. Subscriptions are great - I have 2, however getting the deliveries is painful as they insist on NOT giving me an option to choose a fast delivery and insist in sending it via some bargain basement halfwits.

Want to add descaler to your regular order? Impossible. But you can buy it seperately and pay for delivery that will occur at some point, possibly. If you're lucky. Because it's not trackable.

Customer service staff are always helpful but they are effectively expected to respond to customers blindfolded, with one hand behind their back.

Yet again, i've run out of coffee with absolutely no idea (other than the vague 3-5 days) when it will arrive. They insisted on a cut off of 15/12 for Christmas order......nobody needs a 9 day lead time to ensure something is shipped inside the UK???

Not that this review will make ANY difference to how they carry on, but really save yourself the bother. £1 coffee machine is great, but what happens after goes from shambles to shambles. If I can order dog food to be blended specifically for my dog and delivered the next day, why cant Lavazza manage to chuck some coffee in a box and let me PAY for the privilege of it being delivered when I want it to.......?

Edit: Just noticed that Lavazza "no longer claim their profile" which should tell you everything you need to know about their attitude to customer service!
